Looked like the same old defense to me last night. Even Troy's presence couldn't help these bunch of under-achievers. They gave up and rolled over and took it up the ass.
At least now we can concentrate on the Penguins and see a winning team act like the Champs they are.
In 35 years of watching the Steelers I have NEVER seen a team that's SO talented be such a bust.

There wasn't a team on the field last night, there was a collection of pro athletes completely with out drive, focus or will to win. They look completely defeated and depleted, a polar opposite of a year ago. Incredible...

The Chiefs and Raiders losses were embarassing. This game was downright pathetic. Missed tackles, players out of position, no running attack whatsoever, poor route running, and I won't even include the O line (if you can actually call that an O line) in this. I've either been to or watched every single Steelers game in the past 10 + years and I can't remember one team looking flat out this lost. Something is missing and it's more than TP or AS. Someone in that organization better find some glue fast before this thing falls apart more than it has already this season.

I'm emotionally detached from the 2009 steelers right now. Next year will be better, at least we have a good draft spot and a very talented team. Should be able to pick up some decent players which over half should be on the defense. 3 more games, lets have some pride and win at least against the ravens. I'll be kicking back and enjoying it. Hey cohwer went through some 6-10 years too. It happens I guess, ben is no peyton it seems although I thought he could get to that level, and we don't have the OC thats able to bring an exciting game plan. There is plenty of blame to go around, if the defense closed out games this year they'd be in a different situation. Might as well play Sweed as much as you can and let him get some game experience. Let Burnett Lewis, ziggy, and mundy get some more game time experience. Looking forward to the draft and the hope that the 2010 season will bring.
